If you put a little of sugar in your coffee and that you eat a slice of jam sandwich or a cake, your craving for sugar will be increased during the day and you risk to be victim of sweetened cravings!

Jean-Michel Cohen, estimates however that the dangerous minimal amount can be reached with difficulty, even by furious addicts to sweetened and this whatever their age.

    I lived with a diabetic for years and it was a great education about carbs and sweeteners. I have managed to slowly ween myself of processed sugars and sweetener, and the biggest benefit has been that now fruit satisfies my sweettooth…keeping me away from the chocolate!
